What are the foreign fans like?
Georg: In Amsterdam they are super. We had a gig in a club in front of about 2000 fans, and they all knew all the lyrics. It was awsome.
Gustav: And in Paris they were waiting for us at the record company when we arrived. We have some French fansites, but the server crashed when we were supposed to have an online chat. We didnt see that coming. That was unbelievable how excited the fans were.
Bill: We perform our songs in German all over Europe. Only in England and in the USA we will perform them in English.
How many sms do you sent in a month?
Bill: Just a few! I rather make short phone calls if I want something. Thats faster and more effective.
Tom : I only send sms when theres something short information I wanna share, or like b-day greeting. So I send about 50 in a month.
What is your biggest fear?
Tom : Im afraid of flying.
Bill: Yeah. Same here. Especially when its a small plane, and my heart is in my trousers! I dont really like to confide myself to anybody. I prefer to control things by myself.
Gustav: Im afraid that if I'll get in an accident, I'll get injured and wont be able to play the drums.
Who gets the most fan post?
Tom : Of course me. And the others nothing. (laughs) No, Bill gets the most letters. But we dont match the fanposts, nobodys mailbox is empty. Georg: But it has some advantages, and disadvantages: who gets less letters, dont have to read them in the evenings, and reply to them.
Could you fell in love with a fan?
Tom : Yeah, it can happen. If shes good with me, it doesnt matter is she is a fan or not. Everything is possible.
Georg: We are flirting at our concerts, and when we sign autographs, so it can happen, that we fell in love with a fan.
Bill: I find this a little bit hard, because you never know is she only in love with the frontman of TH, or if she really interested in me. But I can fotografie that.
Do you like the non-stop travelling, and do you sleep in different hotels? Tom : Yeah we like it so far. But sleeping at home in my bed is the best. Bill: Its very important, that the place has to be clean. Once we were in a hotel, and there were dry fruit in the room.
What do you think of the haters, and people that insult you?
Georg: We listen to the critics, and we try to fix our mistakes if theres something wrong. But we dont care about the insults.
Bill: We find it quite normal that not everybody likes us.
Have you ever had a serious injury, or illness?
Gustav: I broke my thumb once, at a volleyball game.
Georg: My biggest accident was when I was riding on a bicycle. I used to ride BMX, and once my leg slid down from the pedal. It cut my calf, and there was blood everywhere. After that I hobbled for weeks.
Tom: I broke my arm tree times. When I was about 7, I had an accident with a sledge: I was sliding down from the hill, when a girl with a skiboard cut in front of me. The sledges patten went across my head, and it cut my face above my right eye. There was a huge wound on my head, and they had to stitch it.
What do you think of, before you go to sleep?
Georg: Nothing. I just lay down, and I sleep right after that. Im a global sleep-freak. When I went to school I always had to hurry cuz I kept oversleeping.
Gustav: I can deal with just a few sleeping. Before falling asleep I always think of the next day, but right after that I fall asleep, too.
Tom: I would really like to become an early waker, cuz my day would be longer. But if Im free I usually sleep til 5PM.
Gustav, what are the names of your fish?
Gustav: They dont have names. In my aquarium I have about 30 negru molly-s, so I cant distinguish between them. When we are on tour, my parents look after them.
How did you like the football WC?
Bill: We are not really interested in football. But when Germany played we watched it of course.
Georg: The German team's elimination was sad, but the feeling during the WC, was crazy. There were quite a lot of football fans in our concerts, and it was great.
What kind of headline would you read gladly?
Tom: "Tokio Hotel won 4 Echos during the evening."
Bill: That would be great, too: "Rolling Stones will play the opening for Tokio Hotel concert!
Bill, what do you have allergy for?
Bill: For all kind of inssects sting. If a small insect sting me, it became huge, and at itches so much. A gig in the jungle for us is impossible. (laugh)
Tom and Bill, what would you do if you could be in each others bodies for a day?
Bill: I would cut down my hair, and would buy totally different clothes! The way Tom looks like is really not my style.
Tom: If I were in Bills skin, I would have sex with a girl, so he could finally have some experience in that. (laugh)
Do you like girls with braces?
Tom: I dont care if she has, or not . You can kiss with braces as well... (grimace)
Bill: I dont remember if I had eved kissed a girl who wore braces, but Tom and I had braces as well, which we only had to wear at nights. But of course we didnt wear them.
Whats the relationship like between you and Killerpilze?
Gustav: We met them only once, at a crush, so we only said a quick "hello". Thats it. The are cool guys, we dont have any problems with them. Not even if the press thinks it differently.
That is bullshit! Will you ever reissue the old Devilish CDs?
Tom : NOO! I think theres about 50 copies out there. But those CDs are very old, and maybe those ones would frighten away our fans, if they reissued it.
