geissen: have you already coped with all that mania about yourselfs, did you get used to it?
Tom: errr, well not used to it, we’re still always glad about it, at the ocazie we have a calmer time, and can think about the whole year again. Now we can like realise it, but of course we’re not getting used to it.
Geissen: um. Yeh, how important are these quieter periods of time in between?
Bill: I think at the moment it’s really good for all of us, we now really need this time when we go to the studio again and be creative again and work on the songs again, but I couldn’t do it without a tv show in between
Geissen: oh. So you already need that?
Bill:yes.
Geissen: yes. And the atingere to your fans.
(girls screaming again)
geissen: I don’t know if you can evaluate that, but you make a ight impression, unlike colleagues , us5, one of them is sick,all too much,he broke down, how can you as a young person protect yourself against that, that you don’t get… not used, but forced to do something, that it gets too much?
Bill: well, very important is the family, friends you need support, without that you can’t make it. And we have had a great team right from the beginning, that always supported us,family, friends and so on
Tom:I think it’s very iportant to have these ‘off-days’ in between, when you can just calm down, hang out with normal people. and we also have the advantage that we know each other for about six years, so we can also help each other a bit, and I think that’s an extreme advantage
Geissen: yes. Err… jürgen(that guy without hair), your youngest daughter is also tokiohotel fan?
Jürgen: yes, she really wanted an autograph, I called her a while ago and told her ‘I have it, I have it’and she said ‘thnks daddy, thankyou, thankyou’
Geissen: you already got an autograph
Jürgen: yeh, I got one, for sure
Geissen: atze(that guy with the curly hair), tokiohotel is a phenomenon, right?
Atze: yes, but I think it’s great, of course they hav many critics, many fans, many critics, but I’m drummer myself and have been performing on stage for a long time with my drums, but I think it’s cool that they play themselves and that it’s authentic, and they are as they are and I really think they’re great.

geissen: how important are these good friends, and do you also have these good friends who sometimes criticise you like ‘oh, how you behaved is not right’or’go ahead like this’
bill: yes, that for sure, the first persons we show the new records are always family, friends, they tell us honestly if something’s crap and if something’s not going cool. But as I said that is the most important thing,you have to… well of course it becomes very little, the circle of friends becomes way smaller…ehm.. but these friends are, as I said recently somewhere else, they understand it if I don’t call them for two weeks,because we have so much other stuff to think about and are so busy at the clipă that we can forget that, I, for example forgot all my friends’ and my parents and so on…but that’s what shows good friends,really, that they don’t be angry because of that,because they know how I am, amd that it doesn’t have anything to do with them, I amost forgot my own, if the fans didn’t remind me.
Geissen: can it also happen that you lose friends quickly because you’re in a copletely different(I have no idea what that word means-.sorry)and also forget the ‘important’ things
Tom: well, yes, that’s difficult, as I said, that’s when you need these really close friends, where you know, even if you don’t see them for like a year, and it’s still the same, that’s what it’s like with our friends, and of course it happens that if you had contact before, but wasn’t very good friends, you don’t really keep in touch, that can happen
Geissen: (I don’t know how to spell that woman’s name)is a guest today and you are a very stylish , these two are very extravagant dressed, do you think that is interesting, or do you say’um…well.. that’s just how they are’
Woman:no, I think that’s nice if they express theirselves in that way, that’s good if you can express yourself like that. But you shouldn’t be scraed of that.
Geissen: no, not scared at all, better to have their own style instead of looking boring., ad you definetly have that.
Jürgen: you got your hair up, too
Geissen: yeh, great ain’t it, and you shaved them. what is it like for you to go outside, it’s hardly possible, because the people of course do recognise yu, because of your style, to just go to the supermarket.
Bill:well, but we don’t go outside like this anymore, we used to,but not anymore. we clad ,put a hood on and stuff, we’re better off also wearing a beard
Tom: yes, tracksuit..
Geissen: oh, really?
Tom: yep, well i don’t wear a beard but tracksuit, very very normal clothes…clad.. well that’s clad for us.

Geissen: oh, yes. (audience clapping hands) ... yes, that was meant to be a surprise…. What about girls?

tom: hm… unfortunately there’s still nothing serious.
Bill: nope

jürgen: they can have a look at some of these…
tom&bill: yeh…
geissen: what did you say? They can have a look?
Jürgen: well… I don’t know...they’re looking for a girlfriend...
Geissen: are you maybe scared of getting a girlfriend right now, ‘cause you think, well, it would have been nice if we met each other before tokiohotel,because I would have known you like the person and not…
Bill: yeh..yeh,yes….yes. it really is like that.
Tom: well, I don’t know…
Bill: yes, of course it is like that, especially with me it’s like that… it is somehow different how people can get to know you, it’s kinda harder to make that step and go to people and to trust them.
Tom: hm, I didn’t…think it was like that
Geissen: hm. You didn’t.
Tom: well, let’s say I trust the people very much, that’s what I think. Yes, it is like that.
Geissen: what you can read in the newspapers nowadays, and it really is like that in germany, if the boys are succesful, there’s gotta be something , even if it’s the grandpa, who may have had a bad day, if you hear that your surrounding also gets involved, do you sometimes think’I quit that crap, it’s getting too much, how do you as young people handle that?
Bill: well, I gotta admit it was really weird at first with all these headlines , and of course you discompose, but now there’s been so much written, and so much crap told, that it became normal and we’re used to it. If we look in the newspaper, it’s normal that it says something we didn’t say.
Tom: almost everyday, we always buy loads of newspapers and magazines with articles about us, and there is something everyday, yes, everyday someone tells something.
Bill: yes, but of course we can’t have as many interviews as they write.
Geissen: yes, you look in the newspaper and go like:’oh, look what I said’
Bill: it really is like that…
Geissen: ok, boys, some thematic change,who does your laundry if mummy doesn’t?
Bill: the hotel.
Geissen: well, yeh.

tom: fold up t-shirts?
Geissen: yes, machine on, put the laundry in ,40°…
Bill: yes, if it’s gotta be quick…

Tom: I can also cook noodles.

Tom: no sauce made by myself
